What the Friends Do ¨ Organize and run the annual book sale, held every September ¨ Support the library through equipment purchases and underwriting programs ¨ Volunteer in the library
What the Friends Have Done for the Library Provide funding for: ¨ Extensive programming, including our annual March Into Arts ¨ Wireless Internet access through our Hotspot ¨ Maintaining the aquarium in the Children’s Room ¨ Public Copier Lease ¨ Wireless Laptops ¨ Young Adult Area Furnishings ¨ DVD/CD repair device, which greatly extends the life of our collection
Benefits of Membership in the Friends ¨ Friend’s night admission to the book sale ¨ Tax deductible support for your library ¨ Order new books at a substantial discount
Membership Information Annual dues are $5 for single or family membership. Membership runs from January 1 to December 31 and includes admission to the current year’s Friend’s Night at the book sale. Join any time in the library at the Circulation Desk, or download an application, complete it and return it to the library. |
